A Day with Danny: Project Coordination and Client Interaction
"As the Project Coordinator in charge of deploying our latest CMS platform, PLANet, I find myself at the intersection of technology and customer service. My role involves coordinating across departments and with clients globally, which has been incredibly enlightening,” Danny explains.
“Working directly with clients has been an eye-opening experience, providing me with invaluable insights into the practical aspects of our business. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the tangible impact of my work on our client projects, fueling my motivation every day.”
Career Shift: From Technical Skills to Strategic Management
Transitioning from the electrical sector to project management posed its initial hurdles but also opened a myriad of opportunities for Danny.
“Changing my career path meant developing new skills and adapting to a different pace and style of work. I’ve effectively balanced my job duties with personal growth and will soon enhance this further with academic studies starting in October,” he shares.
This blend of work and study is designed to reinforce his theoretical knowledge with practical, tangible experience.
Sportsmanship and Leadership
Away from work, Danny is an avid sports enthusiast. “My history with sports, especially my recent stint coaching the University of Leicester American Football team, has honed skills that are directly transferable to my role as a project manager. Leadership, teamwork, and strategic planning on the field complement my day-to-day tasks at Telensa,” he explains.

Danny emphasizes the importance of building a strong professional network within Telensa. “Since joining, I’ve regularly met with my manager to review my progress and set ambitious goals, ensuring I am on track to realize my full potential. Beyond these valuable one-on-one sessions, the support I receive from my colleagues is equally crucial. They provide insights and share knowledge that greatly enriches my learning experience.”
